Our monthly
design classes are designed to accommodate various skill levels, from beginners
to experienced designers! All workshops are held at Coe’s from 6 - 7pm
after normal business hours. Call 515.292.5432 to pre-register. Enjoy a fun
evening out and bring a friend!!

2010 DESIGN CLASS SCHEDULE
“Winter Garden Arrangement” - Tuesday
January 19th - Winter is here, but don’t let it get you down. Join us
for our seasonal design class and learn how to work with natural botanicals and
winter berries. Our gardens may be covered with snow, but our workshop will
bring the bounty of the season indoors! A make and take project for any skill
level. Workshop fee $35.00
“Banded
Botanicals” - Tuesday February 23rd - Have you ever
wanted to hand tie flower bouquets just like quaint flower shops on the back
streets of Paris? If so, join us for a lesson in European flower design by
constructing and banding fresh botanicals. Take this arrangement home for
$30.00.
“Floral
Architecture” - Tuesday March 23rd - Learn how to
construct a fresh flower arrangement utilizing some of the hottest materials on
the market. Design a bouquet with new techniques using colored aluminum wire,
beading wire and bling. Workshop fee $40.00
“Wispy Does it” - Tuesday April
20th - Fragrant wildflowers, fresh green grass, butterflies dancing through
meadows, lets not just think about it, lets design it! Let our designers teach
you how to make a floral design using fresh grass. Bring Spring indoors with
our make and take class. Workshop fee $35.00
“A Floral Picnic” - Tuesday May
18th - All the fun of a picnic minus the ants! Learn how to design a fresh
floral basket that’s ripe for the picking. Our designers will incorporate
fresh fruit and produce with flowers to teach you a technique that will be the
envy of your neighbors all summer long. Workshop fee $40.00
“Deco Pots” - Tuesday August 24th -
Home décor has never been this much fun. Learn how to paint terracotta
pots with design tints and a little secret from our designers. You will be
amazed at the effect, then learn how to create a stunning botanical to accent
any area in your home. Workshop fee $35.00
“Bundles of Bounty” - Tuesday September
21st - Learn how to make one of falls most popular decor icons. Perfectly
designed bundles of wheat are a great centerpiece for any table. Our unique
technique will keep your wheat standing tall for seasons to come. Join us for
this make and take workshop. $40.00
“Holiday Decorating” - Tuesday October
19th - Join us for a fun night of decorating, rejuvenating, and
transformation. Learn new design on a dime techniques for transforming your
home into a holiday showplace. Our designers will take you through the steps of
transforming your old dated décor into something chic for the holiday
season. Workshop fee $10.00
“Autumnal
Gatherings” - Monday November 22nd - Why wait for Aunt
Gertrude to send over the Thanksgiving Centerpiece? Come design a beautiful
bouquet of your own. Work with our designers to create a table that is fit for
all the pilgrims at your holiday feast! Workshop Fee $40.00
“Holiday Kissing Balls” - Tuesday
December 14th - Sometimes mistletoe isn’t enough! These beautiful
kissing balls are perfect for any area in your home. Hang them in your entry,
or display them in a crystal bowl, made out of fresh boxwood, ribbons and
berries, you will have a great time constructing one to accent your home.
